We are seeking a reliable and hardworking
Factory & Equipment Cleaner
to join our team on a permanent part-time basis.
n
This is
not a traditional office cleaning role
. The position is primarily focused on maintaining the cleanliness, presentation and organisation of our manufacturing facility, including production equipment, factory machinery, workstations and factory floors.
n
You will play an important role in helping maintain a safe, professional and efficient working environment that reflects the high standards expected by our customers and employees.
Key Responsibilities n
n
n
Cleaning CNC machines, manufacturing equipment and machinery exteriors
n
n
Removing swarf, dust, coolant residue, oils and general production debris from machinery and work areas
n
n
Sweeping, scrubbing and mopping factory floors
n
n
Maintaining clean, organised and presentable production areas
n
n
Cleaning workbenches, assembly areas and factory equipment
n
n
Emptying bins and managing waste and recycling throughout the facility
n
n
Assisting with general factory housekeeping and organisation
n
n
Cleaning staff amenities, lunchrooms, kitchens and bathrooms
n
n
Restocking cleaning and hygiene consumables
n
n
Supporting workplace safety through high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping
n
About You n
The successful applicant will be:

Reliable, punctual and self-motivated
n
n
Comfortable working within an industrial manufacturing environment
n
n
Physically fit and capable of performing manual cleaning duties
n
n
Able to work independently and take pride in their work
n
n
Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards
n
n
Safety-conscious and willing to follow workplace procedures
n
n
Experienced in commercial, industrial or factory cleaning (preferred but not essential)
n
Security Requirements n
