Position: Home Care Support Worker
n
Type: CAS/PPT/FT
n
Location:Maroubra and surrounding suburbs.
n
About You:
n
Certificate III in Aged Care/ Individual Support or similar.
n
A minimum of 12 months' experience in home care (aged care or in-home support)
Please note: Disability support experience alone does not meet the requirements for this role.
n
Flexibility and availability to work anywhere in between
Monday – Friday. Choose your hours.
n
Valid Drivers Licence and willingness to travel up to 30 mins to services.
Own Car mandatory.
n
Current First Aid, CPR and Police Check.
n
A genuine love for older people and a commitment to their well-being.
n
Strong communication skills and a passion for engaging in friendly conversations.
n
Confidence to work independently.
n
A caring and compassionate nature with the desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our elderly clients.
n
Your Responsibilities:
n
Domestic Assistance:
Provide light housekeeping duties including cleaning, meal preparation, ironing and laundry.
n
Personal Care:
Provide personal care including assistance with dressing, grooming, showering, bathing, toileting, nutrition and eating.
n
Transport and Mobility:
Facilitate community access, recreational, shopping,



errands, attending appointments and leisure options by transporting by vehicle.
n
Provide companionship and emotional support to our elderly clients.
n
Engage in friendly conversations and meaningful interactions.
n
Ensure the safety and comfort of our clients.
n
Report any changes or concerns to the supervisor.
n
