About the Role
n
Goodwin is seeking a caring and reliable Resident Support Partner to join our Assisted Living team.
n
In this varied role, you will support residents to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life by providing practical assistance across meal service, cleaning, laundry, housekeeping and lifestyle activities.
n
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will help create a safe, welcoming and homely workplace while promoting a "doing with, not doing for" approach.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Assist with meal and beverage service and maintain clean dining areas.
n
Provide scheduled cleaning and housekeeping services in residents' apartments and shared areas.
n
Complete laundry and linen services, including washing, drying,



folding and bed making.
n
Follow infection prevention and control requirements.
n
Build positive relationships with residents and support a respectful, welcoming environment.
n
Assist with leisure and lifestyle activities when required.
n
Encourage residents to remain independent and involved in their daily activities.
n
Complete allocated tasks efficiently and report any incidents or concerns appropriately.
n
Participate in team meetings, training and continuous improvement activities.
n

About You
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
Experience in cleaning, laundry, housekeeping or hospitality, preferably within aged care, retirement living or a hotel environment.
n
Knowledge of safe work practices, chemical handling, equipment use and manual handling.
n
Understanding of food handling and meal service.
n
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
n
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
A caring, respectful and resident-focused approach.
n

Requirements
n
n
Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
n
Ability to obtain and maintain relevant employment screening and clearances as required.
n
n
Applicable penalty rates and allowances will be paid in accordance with the relevant industrial instrument and employment arrangements.
