We're looking for a young, motivated and switched-on Junior Construction Administrator to join our team and become an important part of a large-scale residential development in South West Rocks.
n
This is an opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who is keen to learn, wants to get ahead and is excited by the idea of building a career in the construction industry.
n
No construction experience is necessary.
n
You might be a school leaver, recent graduate, have some office/admin experience, or be working in another industry and ready to take your next step.
n
What matters most is your attitude, initiative and willingness to learn.
What you'll be doing n
You'll work closely with our experienced Construction Administration Manager, learning the ins and outs of construction administration while helping keep a busy residential project organised and moving forward.
n
Your day-to-day work will include things like:
n
n
- Project and construction administration
n
- Document control and maintaining project records
n
- Subcontractor administration
n
- Purchase orders and invoices
n
- Tracking project progress and documentation
n
- Council and compliance documentation
n
- Using construction software and systems
n
- General office and project support
n
- Communicating with supervisors, contractors and suppliers
n
n
You'll receive hands-on training and mentoring, so you don't need to know construction before you start.

- Confident using computers and technology

- Comfortable with basic Excel, Word and Outlook
n
- A confident communicator
