Slade Plumbing Pty Ltd is growing its construction team and we are looking for the right people — not just people to fill positions.
n
Established in Newcastle since ****, we are moving into the next generation of the business with a strong focus on
residential construction, subdivisions and civil plumbing works
.
n
We currently have long-term projects underway, including
Metford Gardens
, involving approximately 80 new homes together with associated civil and infrastructure works.
n
We are looking to employ:
n
n
2 experienced Residential Construction Plumbers
n
2 experienced Civil Pipe Layers / Drainage Workers / Ploy Pipe Installers
n
a 3rd or 4th Year Plumbing Apprentice
n
An experienced Plumbing/Civil Labourer may also be considered
n
n
Above all, we are looking for reliable people who can think for themselves, solve problems, take responsibility for their work and get on with the job.
The Work n
Depending on your experience, your work may include:
n
n
New home plumbing and drainage
n
Residential construction and renovations
n
Sewer and stormwater drainage
n
Water rough-ins and fit-offs
n
Gas installations
n
Civil sewer and stormwater mains
n
Poly water, gas and fire service mains
n
Subdivision infrastructure
n
Reading plans and setting out
n
Working with builders, supervisors and other trades
n
Maintaining accurate job notes and site records n
Our work is primarily across
Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland and the Lower Hunter Region
.
Who We're Looking For n
We want people who:
n
n
Have residential construction, drainage or civil experience
n
Can
read plans and think ahead
n




Can work independently without needing constant supervision
n
Take pride in doing the job properly
n
Can identify a problem and work towards a practical solution
n
Are reliable and turn up ready to work
n
Communicate well with supervisors, builders and other trades
n
Look after company vehicles, tools and equipment
n
Work safely and contribute positively to the team
n
n
For qualified plumbers, a
Certificate III in Plumbing and current driver's licence
are required.
n
Relevant experience will be considered for pipe layers, labourers and apprentices.
