Therapies For Kids has an exciting opportunity for experienced and new graduate Paediatric Occupational Therapists to join our team, with full-time and part-time positions available.
n
In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting children with diverse needs to reach their full potential through evidence-based occupational therapy interventions. Our varied caseload includes children with physical disabilities, neurodivergent children, and typically developing children.
What you'll be doing n
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the unique needs of each child and develop individualised treatment plans
n
Delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to support children's development of fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and social-emotional skills
n
Collaborating with families, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic, child-centred approach
n
Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records in accordance with professional standards
n
Participating in regular team meetings and professional development activities to stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices
What we're looking for n
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, with current registration as an Occupational Therapist in Australia
n




Full Australian working rights
n
Strong clinical skills in assessment, intervention planning, and evidence-based practice
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
n
Experience working with both physical and intellectual disabilities desirable
