Independent Plumbing & Gas Fitting (IPG) is looking for an experienced
Senior Maintenance Plumber
to join our team.
n
n
We're looking for someone who knows the trade, can confidently run their own jobs, solve problems onsite and takes pride in quality workmanship.
n
n
Full-time and 4-day working week options are available
for the right person.
n
nABOUT THE ROLE n
n
At IPG, we don't just do basic maintenance.
n
n
Our work ranges from
everyday plumbing maintenance and fault finding right through to commercial, government and civil plumbing installations.
n
n
Depending on your experience, your work could include:
n
n
n
n
General plumbing maintenance and repairs
n
n
Fault finding and leak detection
n
n
Blocked drains, sewer and stormwater repairs
n
n
CCTV inspections and high-pressure jetting
n
n
Hot water systems
n
n
Gas fitting and appliance installations
n
n
Roofing, gutters and leak investigations
n
n
Commercial and government maintenance
n
n
Excavation and drainage installations
n
n
Sewer and stormwater upgrades
n
n
Civil plumbing and infrastructure works
n
n
Working with and mentoring apprentices
n
n
n
n
There is plenty of variety. One day you might be diagnosing a difficult maintenance issue and the next working with the team on a larger drainage or civil installation.

nWHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR n
n
We want an experienced plumber who can




work independently and take ownership of their jobs from start to finish.
n
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
n
n
Current plumbing qualifications and appropriate licence
n
n
Strong maintenance and fault-finding experience
n
n
Good drainage knowledge
n
n
Excellent problem-solving skills
n
n
High standard of workmanship
n
n
Good communication and customer service skills
n
n
Ability to manage jobs independently
n
n
Ability to produce transparent job notes, photos and recommendations
n
n
A professional attitude and pride in your work
n
n
Experience in
gas fitting, drainage, CCTV/jetting, roofing, excavation or civil plumbing
is highly regarded but not essential.
n
