We are currently seekinga
Yard Person/ Yard Hand
to join the team at our
Orange NSW site
. This full-time role offers stable employment, a supportive team environment, and family-friendly hours.
About the role n
This role involves warehouse and production operations, including loading and unloading freight, replenishing stock, assembling agricultural and industrial attachments, and managing inventory across yard and warehouse environments.
Working Hours: n
Monday to Thursday:
7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
n
Friday:
7:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Key responsibilities (include but not limited to): n
n
Maintain a clean, tidy and safe yard environment
n
Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight
n
Assisting customers and drivers as required
n
Operating forklifts and other equipment
n
Replenish picking stock in the yard and warehouse
n
Assist with stocktake and stock management
n
Pick and pack warehouse transfer orders
n
Label inventory upon receival
n
Assisting workshop and operations staff with general duties
n
Use a variety of tools and equipment to assemble agricultural and industrial attachments
n




Assemble mechanical and hydraulic components and products to meet customer specifications
n
Utilise company systems and software to process orders and navigate warehouse
n
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
n
About you n
n
Full Australian work rights (sponsorship is not available)

Mechanical aptitude
n
Strong work ethic and reliability
n
Valuable teamwork and communication abilities
n
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
n
Ability to work both independently and in a team
n
Forklift licence (essential)
n
Previous experience in a production or assembly environment
n
Previous experience in warehousing and/or yard management
n
Previous experience with warehousing software (ERPs)
n
