Ganaji Contracting is seeking an experienced
Electrical QA/QC Supervisor
to join our construction team on a
major industrial process plant construction project near Karratha, WA
.
n
We are looking for an experienced
Electrical QA/QC skilled with 7+ years' experience
and a strong background in
Oil & Gas, LNG, Mining, Process Plants, Resources or Heavy Industrial Construction
.

Point of Hire (POH):
Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide

Travel:
Flights provided in line with project travel arrangements and flight schedules

Employment:
Full-time project work
n
Hours:
Approx. 70 hours per week
n
Duration:
12+ months
n
Mobilisation:
Immediate
n
Rate + Allowances + Superannuation (Weekly pay)
n
RDO:
1 per swing (subject to project requirements)
n
Breaks:
Paid break applies when working over 10 hours
n
EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS n
n
Minimum
7+ years' experience in Electrical QA/QC, Quality Assurance or Quality Control
.
n
Strong electrical construction background across
Oil & Gas, LNG, Mining, Process Plants, Resources or Heavy Industrial Construction
.
n
Demonstrated experience working on
major industrial or Tier 1 construction projects
.
n
Strong knowledge and practical experience with
Electrical Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
.
n
Experience conducting and coordinating
electrical construction inspections, testing and quality surveillance
.
n
Experience managing
witness points and hold points
in accordance with approved ITPs.
n
Experience inspecting electrical installation works including
cable installation, cable pulling, glanding, terminations, containment,



switchboards and electrical equipment
.
n
Experience identifying, documenting and managing
NCRs, CARs and TQs
relating to electrical construction.
n
Experience reviewing
electrical subcontractor and supplier quality documentation
.
n
Experience maintaining
electrical quality records, inspection documentation, ITRs and quality registers
.
n
Experience with
punch lists, defect closeout, electrical completions and handover documentation
.
n
Ability to read and interpret
electrical engineering drawings, specifications, standards and project requirements
.
n
Previous experience as an
Electrical QA/QC Supervisor or Electrical QA/QC Inspector
on major construction projects.
n
Strong
communication, documentation, organisational and coordination skills
, with the ability to work effectively with electrical construction, engineering, subcontractor and project teams.
n

Relevant Trade, Engineering, Quality or Technical Qualification

Construction White Card
n
First Aid - current / within 3 years
n
CPR - current / within 1 year
n
Working at Heights - current / within 2 years

Confined Space - current
n
Gas Test Atmospheres / Gas Test & Monitor - current
n
EWP / High Risk Work Licence - WP
n
Other relevant High Risk Work Licences
n
Previous experience with Tier 1 EPC / EPCM / major project environments
n
Relevant QA/QC or inspection certification
n
Tickets and competencies must be current and valid where required for mobilisation and site access
