About the Role n
As an
Enrolled Nurse
, you will play an important role in delivering safe, high-quality and person-centred nursing care to our residents, working collaboratively with a broader care team.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
Delivering safe, person-centred nursing care in accordance with individual care plans and within your scope of practice
n
Supporting residents to maintain their dignity, independence and quality of life
n
Undertaking clinical observations and reporting changes in residents' health and wellbeing to the Registered Nurse
n
Assisting with medication management in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures
n
Supporting wound care, continence care, nutrition and other clinical care requirements as directed
n
Contributing to assessments, care planning and ongoing evaluation of resident care
n




Responding appropriately to changes in residents' condition and clinical emergencies
n
Working collaboratively with Registered Nurses, Team Leaders, Personal Care Workers and other members of the multidisciplinary team
n
Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
n
Supporting infection prevention and control practices
n
Promoting a positive culture of respect, safety, dignity and continuous improvement
n
Escalating clinical concerns and changes in resident condition to the Registered Nurse or relevant clinical leader
About You? n
Are you a compassionate
Enrolled Nurse

To be successful, you will need:
n
Current AHPRA registration as an
Enrolled Nurse
n
Current CPR Certificate
n
Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
n
Full Australian working rights
n
Sound clinical knowledge and understanding of aged care nursing
n
Ability to work within your scope of practice and under the direction of a Registered Nurse
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Strong organisational and time management skills
n
Competent computer and clinical documentation skills
n
A genuine commitment to resident-centred care
n
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
n
Previous Residential Aged Care experience
n
Experience with medication administration
n
Experience with clinical documentation and electronic care systems
n
Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislative requirements
n
Commitment to ongoing professional development
