About the Role n
We are a specialist Japanese language school focused on adult education, delivering structured Japanese language programs to a diverse student cohort. Due to continued growth and robust enrolments, we are seeking a suitably qualified Japanese Teacher to join our teaching team.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Deliver Japanese language classes to adult learners in groups of up to 8 students
n
Teach in accordance with the school's approved curriculum and lesson plans
n
Prepare and deliver engaging, structured lessons suited to adult learners
n
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedbackMaintain accurate class records and attendance
n
Participate in training, academic meetings, and professional development activities
n
Foster an inclusive, positive, and motivating learning environment.




n
Skills and Experience Required n
n
A minimum of 1 Year experience teaching Japanese as a foreign language, preferably to adult learners
n
High-level proficiency in spoken and written Japanese, appropriate for instructional delivery
n
Ability to explain Japanese language concepts clearly to non-native speakers
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
Ability to manage small group classes effectively
n
Adaptability and willingness to align with established curriculum and teaching methods
n
Qualifications n
Mandatory - A Japanese Teacher Certificate with an additional bachelor-level qualification in
education/linguistics/communication
or equivalent.
n
