Key Responsibilities: n
n
Undertake laboratory testing across a broad range of methods, including but not limited to Australian Standards
n
Complete laboratory testing at the required production level
n
Undertake training in test methods
n
Follow procedures directed by the Laboratory Manager
n




Prepare worksheets checking measurements and calculations of test results of other technicians
n
Maintain, clean and test equipment while keeping work area tidy
n
Liaise with internal staff and clients
n
About You: n
n
You will be self-motivated, a fast learner and bring a positive attitude to the team. We are ideally looking for technicians who possess:
n
Positive knowledge of Microsoft office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel)
n
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
n
The ability to work under pressure, show initiative, prioritise and schedule work
n
The ability to be a team player and work unsupervised
n
Previous experience as a Soil Technician will be highly regarded
n
Qualifications n
n
Certificate 3 in Construction Materials Testing (preferable)or willing to acquire
n
