NMS Petrol Pty Ltd We are currently seeking a full time Retail Manager for our BP Fuel Station located in Altona North, Victoria. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the service station and convenience store, coordinating staff, maintaining stock and financial controls, and ensuring a consistently high standard of customer service and store presentation.

Oversee the daily operation of the service station and convenience store to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
n
Lead, supervise and support retail employees and provide appropriate workplace training and guidance.
n
Prepare staff rosters and coordinate staffing requirements according to trading conditions and business needs.
n
Monitor employee performance and provide feedback, direction and support to team members.
n
Organise purchasing and replenishment of fuel, grocery, convenience and other retail products.
n
Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks and minimise stock shortages, wastage and discrepancies.
n
Review sales results, operating expenses and other store performance information.
n
Maintain accurate records relating to sales, stock movements, cash transactions and general store operations.

Ensure customers receive friendly, professional and efficient service.
n
Respond to customer enquiries and complaints and take appropriate steps to resolve issues.
n
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, store presentation, product displays and merchandising.
n
Coordinate promotional activities and assist with initiatives designed to improve sales and customer engagement.
n
Ensure employees follow workplace health and safety, food safety, company and operational procedures.
n
Monitor cash handling processes, including cash reconciliation and banking procedures.
n
Maintain appropriate security and loss-prevention practices across the service station and convenience store.
n
Identify operational issues and take timely action to maintain efficient and compliant business operations.
n
Assist management with achieving sales, service and operational objectives for the business.

Qualification & experience At least a relevant AQF Diploma qualification One year of relevant work experience managing a busy retail business Previous experience supervising staff and managing a fuel station is preferred You must have a valid Australian visa allwing unrestricted work entitlement About Company NMS Petrol Pty Ltd is part of NMS group, operates multiple fuel stations at various locations in Australia's eastern states.
