We are seeking a qualified and experienced Solid Plasterer for a full-time, ongoing position. This opportunity is available due to continued growth and strong demand for our services. The successful candidate will perform a broad range of plastering tasks to support our projects and uphold our high standards of finish. This is a full time position offering a salary of $76,515 per annum plus superannuation, in line with market rates and award conditions. Standard working hours apply, with potential for overtime depending on project requirements.

Task & responsibilities n
n
Determining plasterboard layout, installing insulation and vapour barriers
n
Measuring, marking, and cutting plasterboard, lifting and positioning panels, and securing them to walls, ceilings, and battens
n
Preparing and securing corner beads
n
Fixing pre-cast cornices, panel mouldings, ceiling centres,



and other plaster fittings
n
Covering joins and nail holes with wet plaster and sealing compounds, smoothing with wet brushes and sandpaper
n
Mixing and applying coats of plaster, cement, and render using trowels, levelling and smoothing to uniform thickness
n
Plumbing and straightening corners, angles, and wall and ceiling surfacesCreating decorative textures in finishing coats
n
Applying and finishing acoustic, insulating, and fireproofing materials bonded with plaster, plastic cement, and similar materials
n
Qualification & experience n
n
Minimum of 1 years' experience as a Solid Plasterer or in a similar role
n
Relevant trade qualification in plastering (or equivalent) preferred
n
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
n
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
n
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
n
Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain)
n
Reliability and punctuality essential
n
