Boilermakers, Fabricators and On-Site Fitters
to join our team.
We are looking for versatile, practical people who are happy to do a little bit of everything. If you enjoy variety and don't want to spend every day doing the exact same job, this could be a great fit.
Experience with grain handling or conveying equipment would be highly regarded, but it is
not essential
. We have an experienced team who can provide the product knowledge and support required to get the right person up to speed.
Boilermaker / Fabricator
The Role
Depending on your skills and experience, your work may include:
MIG welding of
mild steel and stainless steel
Fabricating and assembling grain handling, conveying and storage equipment
Reading, interpreting and working from
engineering and fabrication drawings
Measuring, marking out, cutting and preparing materials
Mechanical assembly and fitting of manufactured equipment
General workshop fabrication and manufacturing
Working with a range of materials, components and machinery
Assisting with testing and final preparation of equipment
Opportunities to operate and develop skills on our
turret punch, press brakes and laser cutter
Opportunities to travel and assist with
on-site installations
, with projects ranging from
Melbourne through to Townsville
This isn't a role where you'll necessarily be stuck doing the same type of welding every day. We want people who are willing to get involved across the manufacturing process and build a broad range of skills.
What We're Looking For
Ideally, you'll have:
The ability to confidently
MIG weld mild steel and stainless steel
The ability to
read,



interpret and understand engineering drawings
Good fabrication, mechanical and problem-solving skills
The ability to accurately measure, mark out and manufacture components
A willingness to learn and take on different types of work
A strong focus on safety and quality
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
A current driver's licence
Previous experience with conveying or grain handling equipment would be beneficial, but is
not required
Above all, we want someone who is
reliable
. That means turning up every day, arriving on time and being ready to work when the day starts. We're looking for someone the rest of the team can depend on.
