Who You Are n
This Victoria-based role is responsible for leading the on-site execution of construction projects from project award to handover, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
A Diploma or Degree in Building & Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline
n
Proven experience delivering commercial construction projects in a Project Manager or similar role
n
Solid understanding of construction methodologies, project delivery sequencing and subcontractor coordination
n
Demonstrated ability to manage projects through all phases of construction, including structure, services, finishes and handover
n
Sound knowledge of construction contracts, compliance obligations and relevant legislation
n




Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements within construction environments
n
Proven ability to lead and manage project teams in a live delivery environment
n
Experience procuring trade packages, preparing scopes of work and managing subcontractor engagement
n
Ability to identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
n
Experience managing project budgets, programme performance and cost controls
n
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors and regulatory authorities
n
High-level organisational, planning and time management skills
n
Proficiency in project and site management software including HammerTech, Procore, MS Project, Aconex or similar platforms
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
Current Construction Induction Card (White Card)
n
Current Australian Driver's Licence
n
What You'll Do n
n
Lead the delivery of construction projects in accordance with programme, budget and contractual requirements
n
Oversee day-to-day project execution in collaboration with Site Managers and project teams to ensure safe, coordinated and productive delivery
n
Monitor project progress and proactively address delays, conflicts,



sequencing challenges and project delivery risks
n
Ensure all health, safety, environmental and quality requirements are implemented, maintained and regularly reviewed on site
n
Procure trade packages, develop scopes of work and manage subcontractor and supplier engagement
n
Oversee subcontractor performance, compliance and contractual obligations to ensure successful project delivery
n
Review subcontractor claims, variations and extension of time requests in collaboration with the Contracts Administrator
n
Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and other key project stakeholders
n
Monitor programme performance, project budgets and delivery outcomes, identifying cost risks, savings opportunities and procurement efficiencies
n
Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory and contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle
n
Maintain accurate project records, reports, RFIs, site instructions and project correspondence
n
Manage project documentation, drawing registers, construction revisions and document control processes to ensure information is accurate and up to date
n
Liaise with project administration personnel to support reporting, compliance, certification and project close-out requirements
n
Lead commissioning, defect rectification, certification and handover activities to achieve successful project completion
n
Mentor and support project personnel, foster a collaborative and accountable team culture, and represent DCOH professionally in accordance with the DCOH Code of Conduct
