Tiny Treasures Preschool is seeking a dedicated and passionate
Early Childhood Teacher
to join our team on a
part-time basis
. Based in
Corindi Beach, NSW ****
, this role offers you the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children during their formative years. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will create a nurturing, stimulating learning setting where children can develop academically, socially, emotionally and physically. This position is essential to our mission of providing high-quality early childhood education and care that supports each child's individual growth and development.
What you'll be doing n
Planning and implementing age-appropriate learning activities and experiences that align with early childhood education frameworks and curricula
n
Creating a safe, welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that promotes exploration, curiosity and creativity
n
Observing and assessing children's progress and development, and maintaining detailed records to inform future learning strategies
n
Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues, and maintaining open communication with parents about their child's learning and wellbeing
n
Supporting children's physical development, health and hygiene needs, including meals, rest time and toileting
n
Encouraging children's independence,
confidence and social skills through play-based learning and guided activities
n
Collaborating with other educators to ensure consistency of care and learning across the preschool
n
Maintaining a clean, organised and well-resourced learning environment that meets health and safety standards
n
Promoting positive behaviour management and emotional regulation in young children
What we're looking for n
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education
n
Current Working with Children Check (NSW) clearance or ability to obtain one
n
Current First Aid and CPR certification for infants and children, or willingness to obtain it
n
Knowledge of early childhood education frameworks, including the National Quality Framework and Australian Curriculum
n
Genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their holistic development
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues
n
Strong organisational and planning abilities, with attention to detail
n
Ability to remain calm, patient and flexible in a fast-paced environment
n
Understanding of inclusive practices and commitment to supporting children with diverse needs and backgrounds
n
Physical capability to engage in active play and support children's physical care needs
