Sunland Support is seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to support children in a centre-based program in Lindfield.
n
Regular weekday afternoon shifts from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm and weekend shifts from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm are available.
Key responsibilities n
Supporting children to participate in centre-based group activities
n
Assisting with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation and medication supervision
n
Supporting children to access community resources, transport and social activities
n
Monitoring and documenting children's progress and reporting any concerns or changes to the office

About you n
Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
n
Minimum three years of relevant disability support experience in Australia
n
Certificate in Disability, Community Services or Aged Care, or an equivalent or higher qualification
n
Current First Aid and CPR certificates
n
Manual Handling competency completed within the past 12 months
n
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
Current National Police Check
Preferred candidates: n
Have previous experience supporting children in a centre-based setting
n
Have experience working in special needs schools and/or after-school programs for students with disability
n
