Arena Consulting Services is seeking a talented
Software Engineer - Java Spring
to join our growing team for a six month contract. This role is, preferably, Melbourne based but can also be based in Sydney and offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging software development projects using modern Java technologies. As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust applications that deliver value to our clients. This position sits at the heart of our technical operations and will directly contribute to the success of our project delivery and client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities n
n
Design, develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Framework and Spring MVC.
n
* Develop and integrate RESTful APis using Java/Spring and Node.js.
n




*Work with Spring Security to implement authentication and authorisation.
n
* Maintain and enhance existing applications using SP and DWR.
n
*Develop, maintain and support CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing and deployment.
n
* Work with relational databases, SQL and JDBC.
n
*Develop unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
n
* Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical solutions.
n
*Work with Docker, Kubernetes and AWS in a cloud-based workplace.
n
* Collaborate with architects, developers, business stakeholders and other technology teams.
