Our client is a well-established building company located near Toowoomba, and they are looking for THREE reliable and hardworking Trade Assistants to join their growing team.
n
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience in the building industry and enjoys hands-on work.

THE ROLE n
Working as part of the building team, you will assist with the construction, fit-out and finishing of portable buildings.
n
n
Assisting qualified tradespeople with day-to-day building work
n
Plastering, patching and general finishing work
n
Using hand and power tools
n
Measuring, cutting and assembling materials
n
Assisting with framing, fit-outs and general construction
n
General building and labouring duties
n
Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe
n
Working as part of a team to meet production deadlines
n
Helping wherever needed to get the job completed to a high standard
n
ABOUT YOU n
We are looking for someone who:
n
n
Has previous building or construction experience
n
Has some plastering, gyprock or patching experience
n




Is confident using hand and power tools
n
Has a good understanding of general building practices
n
Is physically fit and enjoys hands-on work
n
Has a great attitude and is willing to learn
n
Is reliable and turns up ready to work
n
Takes pride in their workmanship
n
Works well as part of a team
n
Is looking for a long-term position rather than just short-term work
n
n
You don't need to be a qualified tradesperson, we're looking for people with practical building experience, a good work ethic and the right attitude.
