We're currently seeking experienced and motivated
Diesel or Mechanical Fitters
to join our team based at our
Component Rebuild branch in Mackay QLD
. You will be responsible for the disassembly, inspection, rebuild and testing of major Caterpillar components, working within our specialised team, focused on quality, safety and precision.
n
This position offers hands‐on technical work across a wide range of heavy equipment components, giving you excellent variety while playing a key role in helping our customers keep their operations running smoothly.

What you'll need n
A successful teammate will have experience in:
n
n
Qualified professional –
trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter / Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent.
n
Industry experience –
proven experience in component rebuilds within heavy equipment, mining, or mechanical workshop environments.
n
Technically skilled –
strong mechanical aptitude with well‐developed fault‐finding abilities.
n
Caterpillar experience (highly regarded) –
familiarity working with Caterpillar equipment or components
.
n
Quality focused –
high attention to detail with a strong commitment to workmanship standards.
n
Technically capable –
ability to read and interpret technical manuals and follow detailed specifications.
n
Strong communicator –
effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Safety driven –
proactive approach to maintaining workplace health and safety at all times.
