Practice Nurse - Enrolled Nurse / Registered Nurse n

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated Enrolled Nurses (EN) or Registered Nurses (RN) to join our clinical team across Interhealth Medical Clinic and Cheltenham Medical Centre
n
Experience in general practice is preferred but not essential. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn and be trained and values a healthy work-life balance. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in a supportive and welcoming environment.

We have opportunity available for:
n
1 x Part-Time EN/RN
n
The position will generally be worked across a 5-day Monday to Friday roster.
n
Our ideal candidate will be available to work within 8:30am - 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. We understand that nurses have different commitments, so we are happy to discuss roster flexibility and availability with the right candidate.
n
We will provide comprehensive training and ongoing support.
n
This role suits a nurse who is organised, compassionate, professional, and enjoys working in a busy general practice environment.
About You
n
Your healthcare experience will enable you to undertake a broad range of clinical duties, including:
n
n
Immunisations and vaccination clinics
n
Wound care and wound management
n
Assisting doctors with minor surgical procedures
n
Chronic disease management
n
Health assessments and preventative healthcare
n
Maintaining accurate patient records
n
Managing patient recalls and follow-up
n
Clinical room preparation and infection control
n
Supporting occupational health services
n
Pre-employment medicals and health assessments
n
n
Experience in general practice will be highly regarded.



Experience in occupational health or pre-employment medicals is advantageous but not essential, as we will provide training to the successful candidate.
You will also:

Hold current AHPRA registration as an EN or RN
n
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
