Parkhurst Early Learning is looking for a warm, passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our growing team.

What You'll Be Doing n
n
Develop and implement a high-quality Kindergarten program aligned with the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG) and EYLF
n
Create engaging and intentional learning experiences that build children's curiosity, confidence and sense of belonging
n
Lead the planning cycle through observations, documentation, assessment and meaningful reflection
n
Build solid, respectful partnerships with children and families
n
Create safe, inclusive and inspiring learning environments where children feel secure, capable and valued
n
Work collaboratively with educators and leadership across the service
n
Contribute your ideas and experience to our ongoing journey of quality improvement
n
What We're Looking For n
We're not simply looking to fill an ECT position.



We want someone who genuinely cares about the work they do and the relationships they build along the way.

We're looking for someone with:
n
n
A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education, or other recognised equivalent qualification
n
Strong knowledge of the QKLG, EYLF and NQS
n
Experience or confidence in developing and delivering an engaging Kindergarten program
n
Strong planning, programming, observation, documentation and assessment practices
n
A genuine commitment to child safety, wellbeing and ensuring children's voices are heard
n
The ability to build warm and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
n
A collaborative, positive and solutions-focused approach
n
A commitment to ongoing learning and continuous improvement
n
n
Most importantly, we're looking for a teacher who cares — someone who celebrates the little wins, recognises every child's individual strengths and understands just how powerful the relationships built during the early years can be.
