About the Role n
We're looking for an experienced
Talent Acquisition Specialist
to join a growing, people-focused organisation experiencing a sustained uplift in recruitment activity — currently ***** active vacancies, with a forecast of approximately 30 roles across NSW and Victoria.
n
The hiring need is predominantly operational, site-based, and technically aligned, requiring a fast-paced recruitment approach, strong coordination skills, and consistent engagement with hiring managers and stakeholders.
n
You'll work closely with the Lead Talent Acquisition Specialist, providing additional capacity across candidate screening, interview coordination, recruitment delivery, stakeholder management, and line-manager support. This is a hands-on, coordination-heavy delivery role — not a strategic one — requiring resilience, pace, and comfort with ambiguity.
What You'll Be Doing n
n
Screening candidates across trades, technical roles, site supervisors, project support, and operational hires.
n
Managing end-to-end interview scheduling — phone screens, hiring manager interviews,



site-based interviews, and follow-ups.
n
Maintaining momentum in a reactive hiring environment where requisitions depend on client sign-off and can shift quickly.
n
Managing relationships with technically focused, time-poor line managers who may change role parameters or delay feedback.
n
Keeping documentation accurate and audit-ready, including briefs, interview notes, and candidate records.
n
Delivering a solid candidate experience despite fluctuating timelines and shifting priorities.
n
Optional HR crossover — strong performers may pick up basic HR coordination or grow into a hybrid HR/TA role.

What We're Looking For n
n
A proven track record recruiting within the commercial construction industry.
n
Solid understanding of construction business structures and role requirements.
n
Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
n
Excellent communication skills, with the judgement to know what each situation needs.
n
A patient, solutions-focused approach.
n
Experience with JobAdder or a similar ATS is highly regarded.
n
Availability for an immediate start.
