Trainer and Assessor Diploma of Emergency Health Care

An established Registered Training Organisation is seeking an experienced and suitably qualified Trainer and Assessor to support the delivery of the HLT***** Diploma of Emergency Health Care. This casual position would suit an experienced paramedic, emergency healthcare professional or vocational educator interested in contributing to high-quality training for future emergency healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

Deliver engaging theory and practical training
n
Facilitate clinical skills and simulation sessions
n
Assess students against training package requirements
n
Provide constructive feedback and student support
n
Maintain accurate assessment and compliance records
n
Contribute to assessment validation and continuous improvement
n




Maintain current industry knowledge and professional practice
n

About you
n
n
HLT***** Diploma of Emergency Health Care or a relevant higher-level qualification
n
Current vocational competence in emergency or pre-hospital healthcare
n
TAE***** Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a recognised equivalent
n
Relevant emergency healthcare, paramedicine or ambulance-sector experience
n
Demonstrated ability to deliver and assess clinical and practical skills
n
Solid communication, organisational and record-keeping skills
n
Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
