ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY n
We're looking for an experienced ERZ Controller Lead/ Undermanager to lead from the front and play a critical role in the safe, compliant and productive operation of our underground mine. This is a hands‐on leadership position with responsibility for day‐to‐day operations, statutory oversight and assuming control of the mine in the absence of the Mine Manager.

You'll lead and develop Deputies and Supervisors, coordinate people and resources, manage operational challenges, drive safety and performance standards, and ensure every shift starts and finishes with clear direction. If you're a visible leader who can make sound decisions, build strong teams and deliver results in a dynamic underground environment, we want to hear from you.
ABOUT YOU n
3–5 years' experience in a similar ERZ Controller Lead/ Undermanager role.
n
Current Deputy/ERZ Controller Certificate of Competency; NSW holders must be willing to obtain Mutual Recognition.
n
G1, G8 and G9 (formerly S1, S2, S3)



and G2 competencies, or willingness to obtain.
n
Strong supervisory, leadership and people‐development skills, with the ability to lead and mentor Deputies and Supervisors.
n
Sound knowledge of coal mining legislation, statutory requirements, Safety and Health Management Systems and audit processes.
n
Experience across both production and technical mining environments.
n
A safety‐focused, results‐driven and highly organised approach, with strong attention to detail and personal accountability.
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels.
