In Focus Radiology is looking for a full-time MRI Radiographer to join our growing MRI team across our Newcastle and Hunter practices. Whether you are relatively early in your MRI career and looking for the right environment to continue developing your skills, or you are an experienced MRI Radiographer looking for your next prospect, we would love to hear from you.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Performing a broad range of MRI examinations while maintaining excellent image quality and patient care
n
Working closely with our radiologists and MRI team to optimise examinations and protocols
n
Ensuring MRI safety procedures and screening requirements are consistently followed
n
Providing clear communication and reassurance to patients throughout their examination
n
Participating in quality improvement, protocol development and ongoing education
n
Contributing positively to the day-to-day operation and development of our MRI service
n
Working collaboratively with radiographers, radiologists, administration and other modality teams
n

About you
n
n
A recognised qualification in Medical Radiation Science (Medical Imaging) or equivalent
n
Current AHPRA registration
n
Current NSW EPA Radiation User Licence
n
MRI experience appropriate to your career level
n
A strong commitment to MRI safety and high-quality imaging
n
A caring and patient-focused approach
n
Good communication and interpersonal skills
n
The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
n
A positive attitude and willingness to continue learning and developing
