Be Our First Regional Pool Tech - No relocation required !
This is a unique opportunity for someone who already lives in or wants to live in the Gilgandra, Coonamble or Walgett, Warren, Nyngan or other regional areas in our territory, to build a genuinely local pool servicing round, with the full backing, training, systems and brand of Poolwerx Dubbo behind them. You'll work independently day to day, running your own regional route, while staying connected to the Dubbo team for support, stock and job scheduling.
Key responsibilities
Operate a dedicated regional service route covering residential and commercial pools across your local area
Carry out scheduled pool and spa cleaning, water testing and chemical balancing
Identify and report equipment faults and carry out basic on-site repairs
Manage your own daily run sheet and job scheduling via mobile app, in coordination with the Dubbo office
Keep the service vehicle, stock and chemicals properly maintained and secure between routes
Build solid relationships with a loyal, local customer base
Liaise regularly with the Dubbo store for stock top-ups, technical support and larger job referrals
About you
Currently based in, or willing to be based in, Gilgandra, Coonamble, Walgett, Warren, Nyngan or a nearby town
Current unrestricted (or provisional) driver's licence - essential, with a good driving record for regular regional travel
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently with minimal day-to-day supervision
Physically fit and happy working outdoors,



often solo, across a wide geographic patch. It hot here - sometimes well into the 40's. So you must be able to operate in hot conditions
Prior pool, trade or outdoor/manual labour experience well regarded but not essential - full training and structured onboarding in Dubbo provided
Reliable communication - you'll be a big part of representing Poolwerx in your local area
Willingness to undertake a police clearance check
Remote/travel loading on top of technician pay in recognition of the regional route
Fully equipped company service vehicle, phone, and stock supplied - no need to use your own vehicle
Fuel card provided for the regional route
No commuting to Dubbo for day-to-day work - you're based locally, in your own community
Structured, paid training in Dubbo with a pathway to a nationally recognised Cert III & IV in Swimming Pool & Spa Service
First-mover advantage: be the founding technician for Poolwerx's regional servicing model in your town

About us
Poolwerx Dubbo is expanding its mobile servicing footprint beyond Dubbo itself, using a hub-and-spoke model to properly service pool owners across the wider Orana region. Rather than making customers in Gilgandra, Coonamble and Walgett, Warren, Nyngan and further wait for a technician to drive out from Dubbo, we're looking for a local technician to be based right in that area.
