Our client is a global developer and operator of renewable-powered data centre and infrastructure projects, growing an already large greenfield development pipeline across multiple markets.
n
They're looking for an Associate to join their deals team and take ownership of the financial models underpinning that pipeline. This is a modelling-heavy role from day one — every project needs its own project-level model, and you'll be building and maintaining these alongside the existing three-way corporate model (but not running the corporate model).

What you'll be doing:
n
n
Building and maintaining project-level greenfield development models across a growing pipeline of infrastructure and data centre projects
n
Evaluating project economics from a power cost perspective — understanding power generation and procurement costs and how they flow through returns
n
Reflecting funding sources and capital
drawdown/deployment
timing within project models
n
Keeping models deal-ready as projects move from feasibility into live financing and debt-raising processes
n
Supporting the development team on feasibility-stage modelling inputs
n




Working closely with the commercial team where model and contract assumptions intersect — full context provided
n
Supporting the preparation of investment and reporting materials for internal and external stakeholders
n
Ensuring models are well-structured and auditable for stakeholders across funding, commercial, development and FP&A;

What we're looking for:
n
n
Likely 2-5 years of experience within financial modelling teams or the investment team of a renewable energy developer
(building/adjusting
PF models), an IB touching PF models.
n
Solid financial modelling background — ideally project finance / greenfield development models, not just corporate or portfolio-level modelling
n
Some exposure to, or strong interest in, power and energy infrastructure
n
Working knowledge of capital structures — funding sources and how capital is drawn and deployed over a project's life — gained through project finance, infrastructure advisory, banking, or Big 4 PF advisory
n
High attention to detail and comfortable owning a model end-to-end
n
A collaborative style — you'll be working across funding, development and commercial teams as the role evolves
