Job Description
As an Assistant Store Manager/ Head Mechanic at Goodna, QLD, you'll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive an exceptional experience. This full-time position offers the opportunity to develop your skills in both retail management and automotive repairs, as you work closely with the Store Manager to oversee daily store operations.

What you'll be doing
n

Assist the Store Manager in leading and motivating the store team to deliver outstanding customer service in our brand-new store.
n
Carry out mechanical servicing, repairs and diagnostics on passenger and 4WD vehicles
n
Carry out log book services and general mechanical repairs
n
Diagnose mechanical faults using scan tools and diagnostic equipment.
n
Oversee inventory management and ensure productive stock control
n
Contribute to the development of in-store marketing and promotions
n
Provide support and guidance to junior team members as needed
n
Ensure the store environment is clean, safe and well-presented at all times
n

What we're looking for
n
n
Previous experience in a similar assistant manager or team leader role, ideally within the automotive/retail industry
n




Qualified mechanic with Certificate III in light vehicle mechanical
n
Strong knowledge of servicing, Brakes, suspension, steering and general mechanical repairs.
n
Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
n
Effective communication and leadership skills
n
A focus on safety and attention to detail
n
A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a willingness to learn
