Job Description

We seek an enthusiastic motor mechanic to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. Working as part of our broader Service Department you will undertake vehicle diagnostics, servicing and repair work.
Key responsibilities n
n
Diagnose defective components using tools like scanning devices as needed
n
Conduct routine maintenance services (major and minor) including logbook services, to ensure vehicles run smoothly and meet manufacture specifications
n
Inspect and test mechanical parts after repairs to ensure proper functioning
n
Repair damaged parts and reassemble mechanical components, consulting services manuals as needed
n
Identify health and safety protocols and procedures, including secure handling of hazardous oils, fluids, greases and machinery
n
Maintain, repair and test engines and mechanical systems in lightweight vehicles, such as suspension, steering, brakes and transmission
n
Adhere to environmental regulations by trapping,



storing and disposing of lubricants and fluids in compliance with guidelines
n
About you n
n
AQF Certificate III in Automotive or higher
n
At least 12 months of work experience
n
Strong technical skills in vehicle repair and maintenance
n
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
n
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional service
n
Commitment to safety and maintaining a clean work environment
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
n
