Maintenance Officer

Position Type: Full-time permanent
n Hours / FTE: 76 hours per fortnight, working across full year including school holidays (4 weeks annual leave)
n Commencement date: ASAP — date to be negotiated with successful candidate
n Term of Appointment: Ongoing position

Classification & Perks: This role is classified as Level 3 Unaveraged under the NSW and ACT Systemic Catholic Schools Enterprise Agreement **** as updated or reviewed. Detailed information regarding the level, salary increments, and general employment conditions can be found within the Agreement.

hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check

comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment

Selection Criteria:




n
n
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work with all members of the school community both individually and as a member of a team
n
Understanding of and capability to apply Workplace Health and Safety standards, especially in the use and application of cleaning equipment and materials
n
Proven ability as a proactive and effective team member
n
Proven ability to execute proactive daily facilities maintenance, fleet upkeep, and physical logistics for school operations and events
n
Strong capability to support annual maintenance planning, complete site inspections, and supervise contractors to ensure compliance across core building services
n
Physical fitness is an essential criterion as the role requires some lifting and physical labour.
