Our client is a well-established commercial HVAC/R service provider delivering high-quality solutions across South East Queensland. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated
HVAC Team Leader
to lead a skilled team while remaining hands-on with service, maintenance, fault finding and project works.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading people, solving complex HVAC problems, maintaining strong customer relationships, and taking ownership of day-to-day operations.
About the Role n
As an
HVAC Team Leader
, you will oversee a team of technicians while supporting the delivery of high-quality commercial HVAC/R service and maintenance across South East Queensland. Brisbane based.
n
You will work across a range of commercial air conditioning systems, including:
n
n
Chillers
n
Package units
n
CRAC units
n
AHUs & FCUs
n
Split ducted systems
n
Split systems
n
Key duties include: n
n
Leading, mentoring and supporting a team of HVAC technicians
n
Coordinating daily service, maintenance and breakdown activities
n
Fault finding, diagnostics and complex breakdown response
n
Preventative maintenance and servicing
n
Installation, upgrade and project works
n
Supporting technicians with technical advice and troubleshooting
n
Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
n
Managing customer relationships and providing professional service on site
n
Reviewing job reports,



documentation and service requirements
n
Assisting with scheduling, job allocation and workflow management
n
Monitoring quality, productivity and compliance
n
Skills & Experience Required n
n
Proven experience in commercial HVAC service and maintenance
n
Previous experience leading or supervising HVAC technicians
n
Relevant trade qualification in Air Conditioning / Refrigeration
n
Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence
n
QLD Restricted Electrical Licence
n
QBCC Mechanical Licence
n
White Card
n
Current manual driver's licence
n
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
Ability to lead, mentor and motivate a team
n
Ability to pass a National Police Check
n
Australian working rights
