2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice - Electrotechnology Electrician n
Essential Power Systems (EPS) is looking for a motivated 2nd or 3rd Year Electrotechnology Electrician Apprentice to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for an apprentice wanting to gain hands‐on experience across industrial electrical, generators and power generation, rather than doing the same work every day.
Key responsibilities n
n
Electrical installation, maintenance and fault finding
n
Generator servicing, installation and commissioning
n
Switchboards, ATS and temporary power systems
n
Industrial and commercial electrical work
n
Working both in our Cardiff workshop and on client sites
n
Assisting qualified electricians and technicians on larger projects
n
About you n
n
Currently completing a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
n




2nd or 3rd year apprentice
n
Current driver's licence
n
White Card
n
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
n
Reliable, practical and able to work as part of a team
n
Interest in industrial electrical and power generation
n
Willingness to travel and work away occasionally when required
n
Variety of work – workshop, field service and project sites
n
Hands‐on experience with generators from small units through to large‐scale power systems
n
Chance to develop skills beyond standard electrical work
