Dual Chelate Fertilizer Pty Ltd is a speciality fertilizer manufacturing company, specialising in advanced plant nutrition and using patented technology. Our business started in Robinvale, Victoria, servicing Almond orchards and vineyards in the region. Dual Chelate Fertilisers has slowly expanded its operations and team with a strong vision and set goals. It has several warehouses and purpose built manufacturing facilities. In early **** Dual Chelate Fertilisers (DCF) built a very large warehouse in the Port Adelaide area. DCF has just finished the construction of a large warehouse in western New South Wales at Forbes and in **** will have another manufacturing plant in Bundaberg Queensland.
We work with leading universities and scientists worldwide (including Australia, USA and Asia) to understand the most efficient technologies to transport nutrients into plants, and in translocation of different nutrients within plants where nutrient corrections are required. As a result of our extensive research and development work, we have been able to combine several advanced nutrient technologies together to introduce highly efficient Dual Chelation Technology. With this technology, organically derived fertilizer products are generally used – towards a healthier & sustainable future.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Accountant to join our team in Mildura. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who meets Australian qualification standards and can manage taxation, BAS lodgments, financial reporting, and receivable accounting with confidence and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include (but are not limited to):
Preparing and lodging
BAS
,
IAS
,
GST
,
FBT
, and




Income Tax Returns
for companies
Preparing
annual financial statements
, compliance reports, and reconciliations (bank, general ledger, accounts) as required.
Managing
accounts receivable
and ensuring timely collection and allocation of payments, aligned with typical bookkeeping/finance expectations.
Liaising with the
ATO
and other regulatory bodies on taxation and compliance matters
Providing tax planning, financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with all Australian accounting standards and regulations (common in senior accountant roles locally).
Using
Xero
and for bookkeeping, reconciliation, reporting, and client file management
Required Qualifications & Experience
Australian university degree
in Accounting or a related discipline
2+ years accounting experience
, preferably in public practice or business services
Registered Tax Agent
Professional designation:
CPA
, or
IPA
Demonstrated experience lodging
annual company tax returns
, BAS/IAS, and other statutory reports
Strong
Xero
experience, including bank reconciliation, reporting, and cloud-based workflow management
Experience in
accounts receivable
processes, including invoicing, allocations, and debtor follow‐ups
Highly Desirable
Sound knowledge of Australian tax law and accounting standards.
Strong communication skills across internal and external stakeholders
Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
