Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Storesperson with strong customer service skills to join our small Sydney-based team. This role goes beyond standard warehouse duties — you'll be responsible for resolving customer order issues (replacements, damaged items, delivery problems) via email, while also supporting day-to-day warehouse operations, including dispatch, when needed. The ideal candidate is switched‐on, proactive, and just as comfortable writing a clear, professional email to resolve a customer issue as they are packing an order or helping load a delivery.
Key responsibilities n
Handle and resolve customer order issues via email — including replacements, damaged goods, and delivery disputes — with a calm, solutions‐first approach
n
Communicate clearly and professionally in writing to close out order issues quickly.
n
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
n
Assist with dispatch and loading as needed, working flexibly across daily priorities.
n
Receive, check, and store incoming stock.
n
Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy.
n
Handle physical returns — inspecting, repackaging, and restocking items where appropriate.
n
Work independently and unsupervised when required, maintaining high standards of productivity and accuracy.
n
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.
n
Coordinate directly with the team on stock movements, dispatch priorities, and customer orders.
About you n




Minimum 4 years' warehouse experience, preferably in a similar industry.
n
Strong customer service experience, specifically handling order issues such as replacements, damages, or delivery complaints via email/written communication.
n
Physically fit and capable of safely moving stock/lifting large furniture items (25kg)
n
Sharp, switched‐on, and able to think on your feet when resolving issues.
n
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
n
A proactive mindset — always willing to step in and help where needed.
n
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team.
n
Ability to adapt in a fast‐paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
