Tier 2 Electrical Estimator
to join a well-established electrical contractor delivering high-quality commercial projects across Brisbane and Southeast Queensland. You will play a key role in tendering and securing projects across offices, retail, education, health, and mixed-use developments ranging from $1M to $20M+ in electrical value.

Tier 2 Electrical Estimator

Key Responsibilities n
n
Prepare accurate and competitive electrical tenders for commercial construction projects
n
Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation to develop detailed cost estimates
n
Perform material take-offs, labour costing,



and subcontractor pricing analysis
n
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
n
Identify risk, value engineering opportunities, and scope gaps during tender review
n
Contribute to bid strategies and tender submissions
n
Work closely with project delivery teams during handover to ensure estimate alignment
n
Maintain and update cost databases and benchmarking information
n
About You n
n
Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within a Tier 2 or strong mid-tier contractor
n
Strong background in commercial construction projects
n
Solid understanding of Australian electrical standards and construction methodologies
n
Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Buildsoft, Benchmark, or similar)
n
Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail
n
Ability to manage multiple tenders under tight deadlines
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n
