Registered Nurse – Specialist Vascular Practice n
Permanent Part-Time | Tuesday–Thursday (option for additional days) | Daytime Hours | No Weekends or Night Shifts
n An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced
Registered Nurse
to join a well-established specialist vascular practice and work alongside an experienced clinical team.
n
This role would suit a clinically confident and personable nurse who enjoys hands-on patient care and is looking to move away from shift work while maintaining a strong procedural focus.
n
The practice also has a growing focus on
preventative health and wellbeing
, making this an excellent opportunity for someone with an interest in lifestyle medicine and holistic patient care.
The Role n
Working approximately
Tuesday–Thursday, 8:00am–4:00pm
, with the potential for additional days, you will be involved in:
n
n
In-room procedural nursing with awake patients –
no sedation
n
Assisting with ultrasound-guided vascular procedures
n
Supporting tumescent local anaesthetic procedures
n
Assisting with ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy (UGS)
n
Procedure room preparation and infection control
n
Stock management and clinical room organisation
n
Providing high-quality patient care throughout the procedure and recovery process
n
Developing specialist vascular knowledge and procedural skills
n
About You n




We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse who is:
n
n
Clinically confident and qualified
n
Personable with excellent communication skills
n
Comfortable working independently within a small clinical team
n
Experienced in a hands-on procedural environment
n
Looking for consistent daytime hours and an alternative to shift work
n
n
Experience in
theatre, recovery, emergency, ICU, day surgery or procedural nursing
would be highly regarded.
n
Vascular experience is not essential, with training provided to the successful candidate.
