Located 86km west of Rockhampton in Central Queensland, Comanche Station is AACo's newest property and home to approximately 7,000 head of cattle.

About the role n
Are you ready to embrace the unique opportunity of living and working on a station while making a meaningful impact on children's education and contributing to the station's daily operations? We are seeking a
Home Tutor
to supervise and support 2 children enrolled through Capricornia School of Distance Education. The children will be completing Year 5 & 2.
Key Responsibilities: n
n
Supervise daily school lessons and educational programs, ensuring adherence to the curriculum.
n




Maintain contact with teachers via phone, email, and reporting systems, providing feedback to parents and liaising on student progress.
n
Plan and prepare lessons, encouraging extracurricular activities such as sports, art, and science.
n
Provide childcare outside school hours as needed when both parents are working.
n
Maintain a child-safe workplace and ensure the schoolroom is clean, tidy, and safe.
n
Assist with tasks including cleaning, washing, supplementary feeding, and other duties as directed by management.
n
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain personal equipment in good condition.
n
Knowledge and Skills: n
n
Experience in tutoring or distance education is an advantage.
n
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
Demonstrated interest in arts, crafts, and extracurricular development.
n
Computer literacy and attention to detail.
n
Current driver's licence
n
A practical, resourceful, and safety-conscious approach to all tasks.
n
Working With Children Check (QLD blue Card required).
n
