What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you'll be:

Planning and developing personalised leisure activitiesthat reflect residents' preferences and needs.

Providing guidance to residents and their families,ensuring the best possible support for their lifestylechoices.
n
Ensuring a varied and inclusive program that accommodatesall levels of ability and encourages participation.
n
Promoting social and physical engagement, helping residentsmaintain optimal function and independence.
n
Participating in team meetings and contributing to ongoingquality improvements and staff development.

What You Bring to the Role
n
We're looking for someone who has:
n
n
Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging & Disability)or Certificate IV in Aging Support or equivalent
qualification(Certificate
IV in Leisure and Health) - essential
n
Extensive experience in a Lifestyle or Diversional Therapyrole, particularly within aged care.
n
A sound understanding of the needs and preferences ofelderly residents, including cognitive decline and
physicaldisabilities.
n
Strong organisational skills and the ability to workindependently and as part of a team.
n
