Talent International
is currently recruiting for a
Marketing Officer
to work for the
Local Government,
based in
Bankstown.
This position is a contract role till
end of Dec with a view to be extended
, and the role pays
$***** per hour + Super.
About the Role n
The Marketing Officer will develop and deliver marketing and communication strategies that promote arts, cultural programs, exhibitions and community activities.
n
The position will manage digital and print content, support audience development and use visitor data and engagement insights to reach new and diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Develop and implement digital and print communication and marketing strategies and materials.
n
Create campaigns to promote arts, cultural programs, exhibitions and community activities.
n
Develop strategies to attract audiences from diverse social and cultural backgrounds.
n
Review weekly, monthly and annual visitor and audience data.
n
Identify opportunities to increase audience participation and generate income.
n
Manage website content, electronic direct mail campaigns and digital databases.
n
Support the management and improvement of customer relationship management systems.
n
Work with internal teams to identify and implement effective approaches for engaging new audiences.
n
Monitor and evaluate cultural programs using feedback forms and other engagement data.
n
Work with communication and marketing teams to strengthen the organisation's profile within the community.
n
Provide excellent customer service to community members and internal and external stakeholders.
n
Develop,
implement and review communication and marketing policies and procedures.
n
Contribute to the development, delivery, promotion and evaluation of services, programs and events.
n
Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
n
Essential Qualifications and Experience n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Tertiary qualifications in marketing, digital communications or a related discipline, and/or substantial experience in a similar position.
n
Experience within the arts, museums, cultural development, media or a related sector.
n
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing marketing strategies, systems and campaigns.
n
Experience delivering digital strategies that increase audience engagement.
n
Excellent communication, interpersonal, stakeholder engagement and networking skills.
n
Robust writing skills, with the ability to adapt content for different purposes, platforms and audiences.
n
A flexible approach to responsibilities and working hours when required.
n
A valid Working with Children Check.
n
Public relations experience and established PR or media networks.
n
Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign or Photoshop.
n
Experience using electronic direct mail platforms such as Campaign Monitor, Mailchimp or similar systems.
n
Experience working with CRM platforms and digital content tools such as Kuula, Matterport or similar.
n
Grant writing and editing skills.
n
Understanding of multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary contemporary arts practices.
n
Experience engaging multicultural audiences within a diverse community.
n
A current Class C driver's licence.
n
