Second Man Rigger n
HRG is currently recruiting an experienced Second Man Rigger to join an established telecommunications delivery business working across major carrier network projects.
n
This is a permanent position based out of Yatala, with ongoing work across Optus and TPG programs and the opportunity to build further experience across 4G/5G deployment, upgrades and maintenance.
n
The role You'll work as part of an experienced field crew delivering installation, upgrade and maintenance works across telecommunications towers and rooftop sites.
n
Your work will include:
n
n
Installing antennas, RRU/RRH equipment, feeders and hybrid cabling
n
Installing tower and pole structures, mounts and associated steelwork
n
Working from construction drawings, steelwork assemblies and plumbing diagrams
n
Earthing, labelling, cable termination and re-termination
n
Tower upgrades, maintenance and structural strengthening
n
Supporting fault finding and equipment rectification
n
PIM, Site Master and spectrum analyser testing
n
Fibre testing using fibrescope and light source equipment
n
Working across Optus,



TPG and Telstra network environments
n
Exposure to Ericsson, Nokia and Huawei equipment
n
What we're looking for n
You'll already have practical telecommunications rigging experience and be comfortable working at height in active network environments.
n
Ideally you'll hold:
n
n
Australian Driver Licence
n
White Card
n
Working at Heights
n
Tower Rescue / Rope Access
n
First Aid & CPR
n
RADHAZ Awareness
n
High Risk Work Licence – Rigging/Dogging
n
EWP ticket
n
Relevant Optus, TPG and/or Telstra inductions
n
n
