Sharp & Carter is partnering with Queensland Corrective Services to recruit a
Project Manager / Senior Project Support Officer
to support the delivery of a significant procurement transformation program.
This role sits within the Procurement and Contract Management Group and will play a key role in the implementation of strategic initiatives including VendorPanel and SAP S/4 Hana.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on project professional who enjoys combining project delivery, stakeholder engagement, business improvement and systems implementation within a complex enterprise environment.
The Opportunity Reporting to the Chief Procurement Officer, you will support the successful delivery of multiple procurement uplift initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders, vendors, implementation partners and project teams.
The role offers broad exposure across project management, process improvement, change management and digital transformation activities.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate project and program reporting, governance and delivery activities
Support the implementation of VendorPanel and SAP S/4HANA initiatives
Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and stakeholder engagement
Drive business process improvement and digital transformation outcomes
Facilitate workshops, gather business requirements and support solution design
Partner with vendors and implementation partners to achieve project objectives




Prepare project artefacts including status reports, briefing papers and communications
Support organisational readiness, change and adoption activities
Coordinate project schedules, milestones and delivery priorities across multiple workstreams

To be successful, you will bring:
Strong project delivery experience within complex organisations
Exposure to business systems, ERP or procurement transformation projects
Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Experience managing project risks, issues and governance activities
Solid business process improvement capability
Experience working with vendors and implementation partners
The ability to work autonomously while managing competing priorities
Exposure to Agile, Hybrid or traditional project methodologies
Highly Regarded Experience working on one or more of the following will be highly regarded:
SAP S/4HANA
VendorPanel
Procurement transformation programs
ERP implementations
Government projects
Change management initiatives
Agile project delivery environments
