Core Responsibilities (role dependent)

Front deck and zero-turn mower operation
n
n
Brush cutting
n
n
Edging and line trimming
n
n
Herbicide application
n
n
Rubbish collection and removal
n
n
General grounds maintenance
n




n
Turf and garden maintenance
n
n
Maintaining parks, gardens, and other public open spaces to a high standard
n
Skills & Experience
n
n
n
n
Commercial Parks & Gardens or Horticulture experience
(highly desirable)
n
n
Experience operating commercial mowing equipment
(highly desirable)
n
n
Relevant Horticulture or Turf industry
certificates/qualifications
(highly desirable)
n
n
MR/HR licence
(highly desirable)
n
n
Knowledge of herbicide application techniques
(highly desirable)
n
n
Current Victorian Driver's Licence
n
n
Experience with brush cutting, edging, rubbish collection, and general grounds maintenance
n
n
Horticulture or Arboriculture certificates
desirable but not essential
n
n
Fit, healthy, and able to work well within a team
n
n
Punctual, reliable, and strong work ethic
n
n
Strong commitment to safe work practices
n
n
Genuine desire to work outdoors
n
