The chance n
The primary objectives of this position are to lead and guide the day-to-day activities of a small work team undertaking reactive civil maintenance activities within defined hours of work as allocated. The position also supports the proactive civil maintenance team activities on an as needed basis.

Lead and guide the day-to-day activities of a small work team (2-3) undertaking reactive civil maintenance activities and provide on the job coaching.
n
Control work sites including safety of workers, ensuring your team has the proper skills and licenses to do the work. Assess work sites and take steps to ensure the correct amount of resources, equipment and plant have been assigned to the work.

Management of plant and equipment to ensure it is adequately maintained, resourced and cleaned as required to be safe and job ready

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

Relevant qualifications and experience.
n
Physical capacity and ability to work outdoors under a variety of environmental conditions.
n
Extensive understanding and working knowledge of OH&S; practices relating to field-based activities.
n
Demonstrated extensive experience in civil maintenance or construction (minimum of two yearspreferred).
n
Demonstrated experience in leading small teams in a field-based environment.
