About the role n
This role involves coupling and uncoupling trucks and trailers using a yard tug, operating forklifts, and managing freight movements in a yard and dock environment. You will communicate trailer movements to operations and team members, assist with vehicle loading and unloading, and maintain a safe and organised yard.

This role is based at our Abbe Coolaroo site. The current vacancy is for a Day shift, start time 5:54am.
Key responsibilities n
n
Coupling and uncoupling trucks and trailers using a yard tugger
n
Constant communication of trailer movements to operations and team members
n
Operate forklifts and handle freight safely and efficiently
n




Assist with vehicle loading and unloading
n
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe yard workplace
n
Safely manoeuvre and position trailers in the yard and dock areas
n
Conduct pre-start checks and basic vehicle maintenance
n
Liaise with dispatch and warehouse teams to coordinate trailer movements
n
Follow all site safety and compliance protocols
n
About you n

Valid LF License (mandatory)
n
Proven experience in yard tug or heavy vehicle driving
n
Commitment to safety and teamwork
n
Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time hours with flexibility for overtime
