Trayza Recruitment is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated full-time Butcher for a well-established meat and poultry business located in Ascot Vale, VIC. We additionally have a branch in Rural WA who are hiring too.

Key responsibilities
n
Break down all types of carcasses
n
Make sausages and other meat products
n
Prepare and present meat to a high-quality gourmet retail standard
n
Cut, grind and prepare meats for sale
n
Operate meat-cutting machinery
n
Clean and maintain tools and equipment and ensure displays and signage are accurate and attractive
n
Weigh, package, price and display products
n
Season, smoke or marinate meat
n
Keep records, budgets and inventory
n
Perform quality inspections on meats and other products
n
About you
n
Certificate III in Meat Processing or relevant qualification
n
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
n
Solid carcass breakdown and knife skills
n
Food safety knowledge
n
Safety standards
n
Experience using slicers and meat-processing equipment
n
