Franna Operator
to join our team in Orange, NSW.
The Opportunity n
This is a
residential-only
opportunity with potential for a 7:7 or 14:7 roster (project dependent), offering a genuine balance of dynamic underground work and scheduled time off.
n
Please note: this role does not offer fly-in fly-out or drive-in drive-out arrangements, and applicants must be based in or around Orange, NSW, or willing to relocate at their own expense.
What You'll Be Responsible For n
n
Operating a Franna crane safely in an underground mining environment
n
Lifting and moving equipment, materials and supplies around site
n
Working closely with dogman/riggers and the wider crew to plan safe lifts
n
Doing pre-start checks on your machine and reporting any faults
n
Following underground site rules,



traffic management and safety procedures at all times
n
Keeping your work area safe and tidy
n
Letting your supervisor know about any issues on site
n
What You'll Bring n
n
Solid experience operating a Franna crane, ideally underground or in mining
n
Current Franna/Crane ticket (C6 or above)
n
Good understanding of lifting and rigging basics
n
Comfortable working underground
n
Being a good team player
n
A genuine focus on doing things safely
n
Ability to pass a medical check and police check
n
A current driver's licence (HR preferred)
n
Nice to have: n
n
High Risk Work Licence (dogging or rigging)
n
Underground mining induction or experience
n
Experience operating other plant as well
n
