Role Overview n
Emmbr are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support a major in-house platform replacement program within a technology operations team. The role will work across business and technology functions to define requirements, map processes and system interfaces, and deliver customer-focused digital solutions using Agile practices.
Key responsibilities n
n
Elicit, analyse and document business and system requirements.
n
Map current and future-state processes and system interfaces.
n
Define scope, dependencies, impacts, risks and delivery priorities.
n
Translate requirements into user stories with development-ready acceptance criteria.
n
Facilitate discovery workshops, story elaboration and requirements reviews.
n
Support Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, refinement, retrospectives and showcases.
n
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders and vendors.
n




Support change management and the successful implementation of new processes and technology.
n
Experience and capabilities n
n
Five or more years' experience as a Business Analyst in a digital environment.
n
Must have experience in Financial Services, preferably lending
n
Demonstrated Agile business analysis experience.
n
Experience supporting a core platform replacement or system migration, preferably in financial services.
n
Experience facilitating discovery and process-mapping workshops.
n
Robust user-story development and acceptance-criteria writing skills.
n
Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
n
Ability to manage scope, prioritise work and translate business needs into practical technology solutions.
