Surgery Vet Nurse | Part-time or Full-time hours

We are currently seeking
a skilled and passionate Surgery Veterinary Nurse
to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary nursing with a specific focus on surgical procedures.
n
This position is available either Part-time or Full-time
and offers the opportunity to work alongside leading veterinary specialists and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care!
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Assisting veterinarians during surgical procedures, including preparation, monitoring, and post-operative care
n
Maintaining surgical suites and equipment to ensure cleanliness and functionality
n
Providing support in anesthesia administration and monitoring
n
Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to changes in condition
n
Providing compassionate care to patients and their families, offering education and support as needed
n
Collaborating with other members of the veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:
n
n
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification
n
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary nursing role, with a focus on surgical procedures
n
Strong knowledge of surgical nursing techniques and protocols
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced workplace
n
Compassionate attitude towards animals and their caregivers
n
Willingness to be on-call for emergency specialised surgical procedures
n
